New form of calculation introduced Conversion to charging station-based installed charging capacity
The National Centre for Charging Infrastructure has comprehensively updated its central publications. From now on, both the inventory analyses and the needs assessment will include the Calculation form for the installed charging capacity adjusted. This means that the control center's inventory and analysis data is now fully consistent with the AFIR target.
- The new Factsheet „Installed charging capacity“ presents the different ways of calculating the installed charging capacity in a transparent manner and thus serves as a basis for a conceptual differentiation.
- In the New edition of the study „Charging infrastructure after 2025/2030: Scenarios for the market ramp-up“ the form of calculation was also adapted to the charging station-based installed charging capacity. This ensures that the existing stock and the determined requirements are comparable. Both the methodology of the study and the central statements remain unaffected by this adjustment.
